I Am of the Mountain Forest

Consider all the reasons why we can't become
A unity, you and me, and it all boils down to one:
Which is that I am of the mountain forest,
And you are of the town.
So you cannot come up to me
And I cannot go down.

But could we meet somewhere in between
And could I tell you visions I have seen
And could you tell me what my visions mean
Then we could see what fools we both have been

For although I am from the mountain forest
And you are from the town,
I can help you up to me
If you will help me down.
