NOTES

I posted this ARMAGEDDONQUEST film manuscript here a while ago, but never did much about the visual presentation. It looked like document written on an old-fashioned typewriter font (Courier), which is perhaps exactly what a movie script should look like, but wasn't especially appealing to the eye. I don't know if anyone ever read it-- for instance some easily influenced movie mogul desparate for the next superhero blockbuster-- they certainly haven't called or come with movie contracts.

But now I've snazzed it up with a prettier font (Times New Roman) and illustrated it with panels from the original graphic novel, all in stunning color. Hey, it looks good now (my opinion).

I know, it's probably too long. This script is transcribed from the last 4 chapters (of 20) of the book --the climax, the Armageddon Festival Itself, the resolution of Tazio's destiny, epic stuff. I'm guessing that the movie would run at least 2 hours, but I'll let it stand for now, until some major movie studio calls me and says "We gotta make this movie!"

But they could just as easily say "We want to do AQ as a cable-tv series, it needs to be longer!" In which case I can just lay the other 16 chapters on them.

Okay, Peter Jackson should have noticed this by now. Or Guillermo del Toro. Somebody?
