I LIKE TO RUN
I like to Run!
No one can run like me, I'm free when I run.
The Earth is whirling underneath my feet
I dance where mountains decorate my golden street
While rivers flow forever and repeat
As I'm keeping to the rhythm of the beat
That my feet have done--I like to run!
I like to climb!
Yes, I'm a climbing fool, I'm cool when I climb.
The mountain thrusts me up into the cloud.
The rainbow whips around me like a shroud,
The crashing of the world no longer loud
My feet are flashing as if they'e been endowed
And allowed to be Divine--I like to climb!
I want to fly!
But I can't fly, you say, but hey, may I try?
I will run until the Earth cannot keep up'
I will climb until I pass the mountaintop,
I will turn my speed to power and erupt
Up into the sky until I fill it up,
And never stop till I get high--I want to fly!
